Return and Refund Policy
This policy governs the return and refund process for physical replica ski chairlift benches and related products ("Products") purchased from First Chair Design Company, LLC.
1. General Return Window
We accept returns on Products within 30 calendar days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unassembled, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are exempt from being returned or refunded:
Items that show clear signs of use, assembly, or installation.
Custom or personalized products (e.g., specific dimensions, unique materials, or special finishes requested by the customer).
Products damaged due to misuse, improper care, or accidents after delivery.
3. Return Process
Request: You must first contact us to initiate a return. Please include your original order number and the reason for the return.
Authorization: We will review your request and, if approved, provide you with instructions on where to send the Product.
Shipping: You are responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
4. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 10-15 business days.
We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of 25% if the Product requires significant refurbishment.
5. Damaged or Defective Products
Definition of Defective: A "Defective Product" is one with a verifiable manufacturing flaw that renders it unusable or substantially impairs its intended function (e.g., structural failure, missing essential non-replaceable component). Minor imperfections, color variations, minor wear and tear such as on used sports equipment incorporated into the finished product, or natural wood characteristics are not considered defects. Our Products are handmade and variations between Products and the images displayed on this website will exist. Each Product we sell is a unique work of art, and we may modify the design and appearance of our Products at any time.
If you receive a damaged or defective item, we will repair the item if feasible or exchange the item for a new one. Please contact us within 2 days of receiving your product to begin the process and provide photos of the damage to the Product and the shipping packaging. Please note that the seller will not be held responsible for damages caused by shipping.
6. cancellation
An order may be cancelled any time prior to the completion of payment processing. Once the payment is processed, the buyer is responsible for the payment.
